Aerotek is seeking an industrial painter for a local Spokane manufacturing site. You will use HVLP spray guns to paint machines, prep small metal parts, and maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

Hiring and Industrial Painter for a local manufacturing company - Paying $22-$28/hr DOE - Start ASAP!

Job Description

This role involves using HVLP spray guns to paint industrial machines in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will prepare and finish small metal parts, including sanding and buffing, while working at a fast pace and maintaining consistent quality standards. The position requires regular lifting, working from heights, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate HVLP spray guns to apply paint and coatings to industrial machines and components.
• Perform paint preparation on small metal parts, including sanding, buffing, grinding, and cleaning surfaces prior to painting.
• Use airless sprayers and spray guns as needed to complete painting tasks according to specifications.
• Handle and move parts and equipment, including lifting items up to 50 pounds safely and regularly.
• Work from heights when required to paint larger machines or elevated components.
• Maintain a fast work pace while meeting quality expectations and production targets, prioritizing speed where necessary.
• Follow established processes, work instructions, and performance standards for painting and finishing operations.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented work environment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.

Essential Skills

• Proven ability to operate an HVLP spray gun in an industrial or similar setting.
• Hands-on experience performing paint preparation on small metal parts, including sanding, buffing, and cleaning.
• Familiarity with industrial painting processes, including use of spray guns and airless sprayers.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining acceptable quality levels, with speed as a key performance measure.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Physical ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and maintain a full range of motion throughout the shift.
• Comfort working from heights when required for painting tasks.
• Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a larger shop environment.
• Reliability and willingness to work additional hours when production demands require it.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
