Job summary

Aerotek in Seguin, TX is hiring an Industrial Powder Coat Painter to operate powder coating in a paint booth and work with parts on an overhead conveyor. You will interpret blueprints for masking, hang parts, set up spray guns, apply powder evenly, and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality finishes.

The role requires 1+ year of manufacturing powder coating experience, a hands-on approach, and strong math skills for measuring and material usage.

This role focuses on performing high-quality powder coating in a paint booth on parts moving along an overhead conveyor. You interpret blueprints and specifications to correctly mask and hang parts, apply powder using spray equipment, and follow proper wash and cure steps to ensure a durable, consistent finish in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Accurately perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) for measurements, quantities, and material usage.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve production or quality issues.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing facility with both automated and manual painting lines. On the automated TTX line, you work with an overhead conveyor system that moves parts through the powder coating process. On the manual batch line, you handle parts more directly while performing industrial painting tasks. Available shifts include first shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and second shift from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. You work in and around paint booths, spray guns, and industrial paint equipment, following safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced production environment. Attire is typical for industrial manufacturing, with appropriate protective equipment used as required for painting operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seguin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
