Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Industrial Apprentice Painters for projects located in and around the Milwaukee, WI area. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $18-23/hour based on experience & skill level. If you are a Painter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

1. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, & applying primer as necessary
2. Operate spray guns to apply two-part polyurethane paint to products to ensure even coverage & high-quality finishes
3. Adjust spray gun settings & pressure levels according to product specifications
4. Perform touch-ups & repairs as needed to ensure product quality
5. Monitor paint levels & equipment functionality
6. Report any issues to supervisors
7. Maintain a clean & organized work area including proper storage of paint & equipment
8. Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

1. 2+ Years of Experience with two-part polyurethane spray gun painting up to 65 PSI
2. Experience with Automotive Painting 25 psi to 45 psi is a Plus
3. Ability to measure, compare, & perform shop calculations to meet customer specifications
4. Manufacturing Experience Preferred
5. HS Diploma or Equivalent
6. Background Check
7. Drug Screen
8. Paint Testing
9. Ability to work OT as needed
10. Strong troubleshooting & Problem Solving Skills
11. Detail Oriented
