Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation’s McNeilus facility in Riceville, IA is seeking an Industrial Painter to prep, paint and finish heavy-duty refuse trucks. Starting pay is $20–$24.70 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) and paid time off.

You will wash, mask, sand and assemble components as needed, operate sanding tools and lifts, perform minor bodywork and ensure a high-quality paint finish while following safety rules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow all safety and compliance regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of applicable position experience
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Experience using hand tools

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and wipe down vehicles to be painted
• Remove and replace all components as required for painting and sanding
• Mask, paper, or grease components when appropriate
• Operate necessary equipment (dual action hand sander, electric lifts, etc.)
• Perform minor bodywork and maintain condition of vehicle or component through the entire paint process
