Job summary

Staffmark is hiring an Industrial Painter in York, PA for the AM shift. The pay rate is $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, and this is a direct-hire position. You will join a team that values your time, talent, and potential from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial painting experience required.
• Experience using paint sprayers, mixers, brushes and painting equipment.
• Ability to mix paints, primers, and coatings to specs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to troubleshoot painting and finish quality issues.
• Forklift experience preferred for transporting finished parts.
• Work safely with paints, chemicals and required PPE.
• Strong communication and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs consistently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Work in enclosed paint booths and perform overhead painting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, prime, and paint parts and equipment to specifications.
• Apply paints and primers while maintaining high-quality finishes.
• Mix paints and prepare surfaces by sanding, degreasing, and cleaning.
• Operate and maintain paint sprayers, mixers, booths, and related equipment.
• Transport finished parts using a forklift and inspect for quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint booth and work area.
• Document and track paints, lacquers, thinners, and other coatings.
• Assist with assembly operations as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Job Duties:

• Apply paints and primers while maintaining high-quality finish standards
• Mix paints and prepare surfaces by sanding, degreasing, and cleaning materials
• Operate and maintain paint sprayers, mixers, paint booths, and related equipment
• Monitor paint inventory and request additional supplies as neededTransport finished parts to assembly or stock using a forklift
• Inspect painted parts to ensure color, finish, and quality requirements are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint booth and work area
• Document and track paints, lacquers, thinners, and other coating materials
• Assist with assembly operations as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE while working with chemicals
• Support additional production duties as assigned
