Job summary

Openwork in Baytown, TX is seeking a dependable Industrial Packaging Machine Operator to operate and monitor packaging machinery in a plastic resin facility. This full-time position offers rotating 12-hour shifts and a pay of $17.00 per hour.

You will set up materials, inspect quality, label finished bags, weigh and palletize, and help with changeovers and cleanups. Candidates should have prior experience with industrial production, read and follow procedures, and be able to lift up to 55 pounds

Qualifications

• Experience operating production or packaging machinery in manufacturing, plastics, chemical, or similar industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial packaging machinery that fills plastic resin pellets into bags/containers.
• Set up packaging materials (bags, labels, pallets) and ensure smooth production flow.
• Weigh, seal, label, stack, and palletize finished bags per customer specs.
• Verify product codes, labels, weights, lot numbers, and packaging specs.
