Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Tracy, CA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a PRN, onsite role focused on ergonomics and injury prevention in a modern industrial setting.

You will assess musculoskeletal discomfort per OSHA guidelines, provide early intervention, coach proper body mechanics, and conduct ergonomic assessments. Flexible day-shift scheduling within a 24/7 operation offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with state license.
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience.
• Experience with ergonomic assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address musculoskeletal discomfort within OSHA First Aid guidelines.
• Provide early intervention care and injury prevention strategies.
• Coach employees on proper body mechanics, posture, and safe work practices.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend risk-reduction solutions.
• Collaborate with safety teams, plant leadership, and supervisors.
• Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Promote overall wellness through strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination initiatives.
• Document care services appropriately.
• Support alternatives to medication and surgical intervention when appropriate.
