Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an Operational Technology Cyber Prevention Engineer to support the security of the manufacturing IT/OT landscape. You will collaborate across technical and business teams to implement procedures, standards, and controls that prevent cyber incidents.

The role spans manufacturing hardware/firmware/software, OT enterprise systems, data analysis, and reporting. You will partner with IT and business users to ensure secure operations across HDMA locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field (Cybersecurity, Networking, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science).
• 0–2 years of experience with machine control networks / ICS and basic cybersecurity fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Set OT standards for new equipment and integrate it into OT networks.
• Create, administer and maintain OT training material.
• Create, issue, maintain, and audit OT policies and procedures.
• Implement physical and logical access controls for OT systems.
• Develop and maintain OT technical standards for equipment and networks.
• Establish OT risk metrics and perform assessments.
• Research industry OT security benchmarks and update internal tools accordingly.
