Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. seeks an Industrial Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations within a defined scope, ensuring safety, efficiency, and consistent performance while developing frontline leadership.

This role provides exposure to cross-functional metrics and strategic execution. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of management experience in inventory and operations, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS O365; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of management/leadership experience with inventory/operational tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute industrial strategy for profitable growth.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, budgeting and expenditure management to meet budgets.
  • Support development of sales and management teams with recruitment, training and mentoring.
  • Identify opportunities for new markets or segments to enhance margins and top-line growth.
  • Analyze market trends and data to support sales/promotions for current and future business.
  • Adhere to HSE policies and company compliance.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Handle branch/central ops duties including invoicing, billing, ISO, H&S, admin support.

The Industrial Operations Manager is an operations leader responsible for driving reliable execution and performance within a defined operational scope. This role ensures day‑to‑day operations run safely, efficiently, and consistently while developing the leadership capability needed to progress into more senior operational ownership roles. This position builds depth in performance management, process discipline, and leadership capability. A strong focus on executing operational strategy, managing frontline performance, and developing teams while gaining exposure to broader business metrics and cross‑functional execution. Not remote, located in the central time zone.

Primary Responsibilities

Participates in the strategic development and execution of the we are an industrial environment and strategy to produce profitable growth and strong cash flow performance.

Contributes to sales forecasting, financial budgeting and expenditure management to achieve company budget objectives.

Supports the development of strong sales and management teams, implementing recruitment, training and mentoring programs that result in a capable and motivated workforce.

Follows mechanisms that drive the identification of opportunities for new market or business segment opportunities, or to enhance profit margin enhancement and accelerating top‑line revenue growth.

Performs the analysis of market trends and stored data to assist in sales/promotions for present and future business.

Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Other duties as assigned - Branch or Central Ops Support – Invoicing, billing, ISO, H&S, admin support, etc. management

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered 3+ years management / leadership experience coupled with handling inventory / operational tasks Trilogie experience is required Ability to adapt and change processes to keep pace with the evolving business requirements Outstanding organizational and leadership skills to optimally respond to urgent situations Must be process oriented with good judgment and decision‑making abilities Strong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to lead a team Strong technical skills included but not limited to Microsoft O365 applications

  • Pay Range: - $4,124.70 - $9,075.00 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
  • This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
  • Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
