Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Plant IT Specialist to manage and support production floor systems, networks, and devices. You will handle vendor access, servers, PCs, printers, and security systems while testing changes before deployment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware/software issues, automating plant processes, and communicating outages. Travel to support multiple plants may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.
• Proficient in ladder logic PLC programming.
• Proficient in graphics packages / HMI interfaces.
• Fundamental understanding of VLANs and Cisco switches.
• Familiar with Citrix desktop environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and maintain vendor access requests.
• Maintain all plant computer, network components, servers, and printers.
• Support security cameras, door readers, and control systems.
• Provide on-call support for complex software problems and issues.
• Test hardware and software changes before production use.
• Work with end-users to propose hardware/software solutions.
• Automate plant processes and communicate outages.
• Travel as required to support additional plants.
