Job summary

WPT Nonwoven seeks an Industrial Multicraft Maintenance Mechanic for night shift (7p–7a) in Beaver Dam, KY. The role requires keeping plant and machinery in good working order, performing preventive maintenance, and installing equipment within a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring utilities, maintaining buildings, and upholding safety standards. Candidates should have at least 1 year of maintenance experience and basic tools; MIG welding is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of documented experience as Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Must have basic hand tools.
• Ability to use MIG welder and gas cutting torch.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic electricity principles.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret operating and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Repair plant and machinery in a timely manner.
• Maintain preventive maintenance system through controlled documentation.
• Investigate and report engineering issues affecting production efficiency.
• Install new and used equipment.
• Install and maintain services and utilities.
• Weekly monitoring of utility usage.
• Maintain buildings and grounds.
• Follow safe work practices and housekeeping.
