Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a first-shift, on-site role in Middlebury, IN. You will troubleshoot and repair a broad range of equipment, from powder coating to CNC lasers and Fanuc robotics, ensuring uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to read schematics. This contract-to-hire position offers comprehensive benefits and a stable, long-term environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting experience with presses or stamping equipment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including up to 480V 3-phase.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical schematics.
• Experience maintaining/repairing industrial equipment (presses, conveyors, welders, ovens, CNC machinery).
• Must provide and use own tools for daily maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on a range of production equipment.
• Maintain and repair CNC Trumpf lasers, 50700 ton presses, ovens, saws, slotters, welders, and Fanuc robotics.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues up to 480V 3-phase.
• Read blueprints and schematics to plan corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Support PLC troubleshooting to identify control faults.
• Repair Fanuc robotic systems used for welding and automation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to minimize downtime.
