Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, a subsidiary of Arcosa, is seeking a Buyer for our Clinton, IL plant. You will manage procurement, inventory control, production planning, vendor coordination and material movement to support operations.

You’ll leverage MRP and historical data to forecast needs, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of MRO and core items. Strong data-driven communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• APICS certification preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.
• MRO procurement experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution.
• Monitor and maintain purchasing data and ensure timely deliveries.
• Negotiate terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize processes.
