Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, a subsidiary of Arcosa, Inc., seeks a Production Supervisor at the Clinton, IL plant. You will oversee multiple production activities, coordinate shift work, and own output from team members while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The role requires strong leadership in a heavy industrial setting, with emphasis on welding and fabrication processes and blueprints knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of leadership experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience in metal fabrication or welding environment is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and layouts related to transmission poles.
• Dependability, maturity and strong leadership traits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety procedures are followed, participate in safety audits.
• Oversee daily production operations for heavy industrial products.
• Set production schedules aligned with equipment efficiency and quality metrics.
• Coach employees on work quality and welding processes to meet goals.
• Maintain production output at or below budgeted costs.
• Support continuous improvement to optimize material flow.
• Manage hourly staff, track time sheets and assign workstations.
• Oversee fit-up and welding processes, ensuring policy compliance.
