Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking a skilled fabrication specialist for our Auburn Hills design office and fabrication shop. You will work with interior and exterior bucks and armatures, using CAD data and prints to guide craftsmanship and finishes on show-quality parts.

You will interface with engineers, designers, and cross‑functional teammates to develop prototypes and adapt components for both new and aftermarket programs, while maintaining high precision and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• 5+ years of experience with shop/mill room machinery.
• Welding experience (steel and aluminum) preferred.
• Ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong automotive surfacing and paint application skills.
• Able to work individually and in a team.
• Willing to participate in overtime and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior and exterior bucks/armatures from CAD data.
• Interfacing with engineers, designers and cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare and finish prototypes for show quality paints and finishes.
• Adapt new and aftermarket parts to existing or prototype vehicles.
• Maintain high craftsmanship while working from prints/CAD models.

This opening is an assignment within the Design OfficeFabrication Shoplocated at the Stellantis Headquarters located in Auburn Hills, Michigan.Itinvolvesinterfacingwithmultipledisciplines,i.e.,engineers, designers,and cross-function team members while participating in allfabricationrelatedactivities and assignments.

Such activities include but are not limited to developinginterior and exteriorbucks/armaturesaccording toelectronic CAD data,on a surface platewith a fullunderstandingof thex, y and zgrid system.The ability toexecutestructural carpentry,prepping andsurfacing hard models and parts(new, aftermarket and prototype)for show quality paints and other finishes.Adapting newandaftermarket parts to existing / prototype vehicles. An understanding of auto mechanics.A fullskill setfortheapplication of paints and other show finishes.

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED
• 5+ years of experience using shop/mill room stationary machinery such as aTable saw, Joiner, Planer, Drill PressBridgeport,Press Brake, Shear, Lathe
• Prior welding experience (steel and aluminum)
• Ability to work with hand tools such as aDrill motor, Jig Saw, Reciprocating Saw, Circular Saw, Die Grinder, Orbital Sander
• Strong skills in automotive surfacing and paint application
• Ability to work both individually andas a team member in a creative anddiverse environment
• Participate in additional training and process improvements
• Willingness to be mentored and mentor others
• Participate in scheduled overtime
