Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Industrial ML Software Engineer to advance AI/ML-powered control systems and digital twins for data center cooling equipment. You will contribute to simulation infrastructure, ROM development, and industrial integration in a fast-paced engineering environment.

You will work on ML models for adaptive control, predictive maintenance and anomaly detection, deploying inference pipelines on Linux platforms and interfacing with Modbus, MQTT and CAN networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a strong emphasis on software.
• 2+ Years experience in similar position.
• Proficiency in Python programming and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab and Linux environments.
• Experience with Docker/Containerization.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols including MQTT, Modbus, CAN.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation environments for controls development and testing.
• Create ROMs and assist Digital Twin development.
• Develop, train and validate ML models for adaptive control and anomaly detection.
• Deploy ML inference pipelines on Linux-based industrial platforms.
