Job summary

Lithium Americas Corp. is seeking a Process Maintenance Mechanic to join its maintenance team at the Thacker Pass office in Nevada. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe, reliable, and continuous lithium carbonate manufacturing operations. This role requires maintaining and repairing critical mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with MSHA and OSHA standards, and performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in mining or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance on process plant equipment.
• Ability to work safely in compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and document findings.
