Job summary

DFM Solutions is seeking a skilled Millwright to perform mechanical maintenance and installations in our Fort Wayne facility. The role focuses on corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance of industrial equipment and building systems.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman card or equivalent experience, along with hands-on skills in hoist maintenance, welding, pipefitting and HVAC, and a solid commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Journeyman’s Card in relevant industrial field or 8 years of documented experience.
• Experience in hoist maintenance, welding, pipefitting, small fabrication, and HVAC.
• EPA Refrigerant license preferred.
• Backflow preventer certification preferred.
• Good computer skills.
• Experienced in industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment and/or building facilities equipment.
• Assemble, install, repair and dismantle industrial machinery and heavy equipment.
• Work from mechanical and electrical schematics, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions.
• Support equipment modifications and equipment installations.
• Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine audits and verifications to confirm the completion of maintenance activities.
• Arrive on the job, ready to work every day according to the work plan and schedule.
• Demonstrates role model behavior for safety, integrity and ethical standards.
• Ensure all work performed complies with environmental regulations.
