Job summary

Austin Industries is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, repair and dismantle machinery and heavy equipment in industrial settings. You will align components, test systems, and perform maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

You will work with hand and power tools, read blueprints, and follow safety protocols while coordinating with a team to move, install and align large equipment on foundations and bedplates. Experience required: 3–5 years Journeyman level.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.

Responsibilities

• Replace defective parts and adjust clearances
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, and measurement tools
• Connect power units to machines and test operations
• Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools
