Job summary

IMMEC Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright to operate a variety of machines and provide on-site millwright services to industrial clients. The successful candidate will apply mathematics and mechanics to perform assigned tasks safely and efficiently.

You will read blueprints, align gears, fit bearings, and perform predictive maintenance, with duties including rigging, forklift operation, and emergency repairs. A strong focus on safety and troubleshooting is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers) to take accurate measurements.
• Critical thinking.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical machinery and parts.
• Read diagrams, schematics and service manuals.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors and connect couplings, chains and belts.
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials.
• Certified rigging and signal person.
• Planning and problem solving.
• Able to obtain OSHA 30 Certification via in-house classes.
• Safety focused.
