IMMEC Inc. in McDonough, GA seeks a skilled Millwright to operate a variety of machines and provide maintenance services for diverse industrial clients.

The role requires strong measurement, blueprint reading, and safety focus to support precision alignment and preventive repairs. You will perform welding and fabrication (SMAW; TIG/GMAW/FCAW a plus), rigging, drive systems knowledge, and emergency repairs while maintaining a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Reads diagrams, schematics and service manuals.
• Experience in precision measurements and alignment.
• Proficient with a variety of hand tools and precision tools.
• Knowledge of metal properties and mechanical parts.
• Ability to fit bearings, align gears/shafts, and connect couplings.
• Certified rigging and signal person
• Ability to perform planning and problem solving
• Welding/fabrication skills desirable (SMAW; TIG/GMAW/FCAW)
• Safety-focused with OSHA 30 certification obtainable in-house

Overview

IMMEC Inc is looking for a skilled Millwright to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will provide millwright services to a variety of industrial clients. The successful candidate must have knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• SMAW welding and field fabrication skills. TIG, GMAW and FCAW a plus.
• Rigging and signal person
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Industrial maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of drives, gear boxes, couplings and precision alignment
• Operate aerial and powered forklift lifts
