Job summary

Noble Oil Services, Inc., a Clean Harbors company, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright Type) in Sanford, NC. Duties include preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment, with focus on safety and compliance. Requires 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with some OT and weekend potential. Wage starts at $30/hour DOE, with benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years maintenance experience in an industrial environment preferred
• Familiar with pressure, temperature, flow and level instrumentation, distillation stills, pumps, boilers a plus
• Piping systems and fluid dynamics
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Clean and valid driver's license; confined spaces certification; respirator capable
• Must be able to wear a full-face respirator and remain clean shaven
• Ability to work in extreme weather and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose failures and correct deficiencies
• Complete service, parts/inventory records timely and accurately
• Follow daily checklists for proper maintenance operation
• Communicate problems or issues with the unit to management promptly
• Follow LOTO and safety SOPs; complete mandatory training and paperwork
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and SOP standards
• Assemble components, conduct pump and piping installs as needed
• Operate forklift or heavy equipment as required for diagnostics
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols
