Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Journeyman Millwright for the Cameron, LA area to install, align, and maintain heavy machinery. The role requires reading blueprints, using precision tools, and performing complex maintenance tasks on power-plant equipment.

The candidate should have 4–5 years of industrial construction/maintenance experience and 3+ years in Power Generation Plants, with reliable transportation and TWIC & current driver's license.

Qualifications

• Industrial construction/maintenance history
• Reading blueprints, schematics and engineering specs
• Use of hand and power tools
• Journeyman Precision Millwright tools
• 3+ years Millwright experience in power generation plants
• Willing to work 7 days as needed

Responsibilities

• Install, align and assemble high-precision machinery
• Plan, inspect, verify and document scope of work
• Use precision levels, calipers, and micrometers for measurements
• Dismantle and assemble equipment to manufacturer drawings
• Operate cranes, hoists and rigging to position equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
