Borusan Pipe US is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to inspect, install and repair manufacturing equipment in the pipe mill facility. You will apply advanced fluid power and pneumatic knowledge, including hydraulic systems with servo components, and maintain critical plant utilities such as water pumps and air compressors.
The role requires 3 years of relevant experience, ability to interpret drawings, electrical knowledge related to mechanical equipment, and a strong focus on maintenance
Apply high level mechanical skills to inspect, install, repair and adjust all manufacturing equipment within the pipe mill facility. Responsible for the mechanical maintenance of machinery and equipment within the facility. Apply advanced knowledge in fluid power and pneumatic equipment including simple to complex hydraulic systems with some servo components, plant utilities such as high-volume water pumps and air compressors. Analytically troubleshoot and resolve mechanical malfunctions back to OEM Specifications. Routinely check the performance of mechanical equipment. Properly maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and processing of Work Orders. Attend and participate in Line-Out meetings to communicate daily activities between incoming and outgoing Maintenance shift crews. Make necessary equipment repairs during the shift to maintain equipment availability for production. Complete Maintenance shift reports and corresponding paperwork. Participate in production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers as it pertains to equipment reliability and availability. Perform required Daily; Weekly, Quarterly and Annual check sheets as established by the Maintenance Department and O.E.M. suppliers.
