Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Maintenance Millwright for our Albany, GA Lumber facility. This role focuses on reliability and maintenance of heavy machinery, preventive and corrective work, and safety adherence to company policies.

The position requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance and experience with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, hydraulics, and CMMS to track work orders and parts. Applicants should be prepared for varied shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or military environment.
• Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Experience with precision maintenance and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of reliability and maintenance tasks on heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with the facility’s preventative maintenance schedule.
• Adhere to all plant safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Work with operations to identify opportunities for improvement and prioritize maintenance needs.
