Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; engineering degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of sales experience in the metal industry.
• Print reading and CAD/drafting experience are assets.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office is highly preferred.
• Strong mathematical ability and technical aptitude to interpret specs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and qualify customer-provided documents such as prints and CAD files.
• Full understanding of tolerances, materials, specifications, and processing options guiding metal supply chains.
• Manage part-specific supply chains using internal and external processing assets.
• Estimate material, labor, and delivery options and develop contract pricing templates.
• Evaluate sales proposals for technical accuracy and quality standards.
• Conduct technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific prices.
• All other duties as assigned.
