Job summary

GrayWolf is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on industrial projects. You will collaborate with piping, electrical, HVAC, and process teams to ensure estimates align with field planning and project goals.

The role requires a strong grasp of MEP drawings and codes, proficiency with estimating software, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel to job sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating MEP scopes for industrial construction.
• Strong understanding of field operations and MEP installation sequences.
• Ability to deliver accurate estimates that support project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and client docs to prepare comprehensive MEP estimates.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and pricing for HVAC, piping, fire protection, and electrical systems.
• Estimate field labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment needs including crane/rigging costs.
• Collaborate with Pre-Construction, Sales, and PM to align estimates with scope.
• Identify risks and gaps for accurate forecasts and contingency planning.
• Enter take-offs, pricing, and project details into estimating software.
