Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician for the Eddyville, IA area. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, conveyors, piping, heat exchangers, and other rotating equipment in a safety‑minded, team environment.
Candidates should have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or 4+ years of related education; HS diploma or GED required, AA in Industrial Maintenance preferred. Physical work with tools and heavy equipment is expected.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; AA in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
- 5+ years in industrial maintenance or 4+ years of related education in industrial maintenance technologies/engineering.
- Experience with pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, power transmissions, and other rotating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and repair maintenance on pumps, conveyors, piping, heat exchangers, power transmissions, and rotating equipment.
- Work with hand/power tools, alignment, rigging, welding, blueprint reading, and math to complete tasks.
- Maintain safety and quality standards and complete work orders with minimal supervision when capable.
