Title: Industrial Mechanical Technician

Salary: Up to $36.25/hr (DOE)

Location: Eddyville, IA

Hours: Shift Schedule

• Week 1: Wed/Thurs 7pm-7am
• Week 2: Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat/Sun 7pm-7am

What Will I Be Doing?

Here are some daily responsibilities:

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, adhering to 'Safety First' expectations, including PJHA process, Observation process, and all safety guidelines.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, power transmissions, and other rotating equipment, following established standards. Tasks may range from supervised to independent completion based on experience.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance standards and work procedures; provide feedback on service discrepancies.
• Have working knowledge of using hand/power tools, precision alignment, rigging, pipefitting, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and perform welding and cutting torch operations as required.
• Operate heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, basket trucks, and skid loaders.
• Work from elevated areas using fall protection equipment.
• Work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and company policies.
• Meet performance expectations and participate in employee development planning.
• Maintain personal tools and meet physical requirements for the role.
• Perform tasks safely, effectively, and efficiently, including administrative duties like time tracking and work order completion.
• Maintain positive relations with customers and colleagues.

• 3+ years of related mechanical experience and 1-2 years of industrial maintenance education preferred.

Physical Demands

Must be able to observe details at close range, control machinery precisely, manipulate objects quickly, lift up to 50 pounds, move continuously, ascend/descend ladders, operate tools and vehicles safely, wear respirators, and communicate effectively.

Work Environment
