Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS North America is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Cartersville, GA. The role supports the Utilities Team by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing plant utility and water treatment mechanical systems.

You will work on PCW, CHW, HVAC, CDA, cooling towers, and related equipment, ensuring uptime and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, the ability to read drawings and I&C schematics, and experience with HMI

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform PMs, troubleshooting, and repairs on Utility & Water Treatment systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, I&C diagrams, blueprints, and piping flow paths.
• Experience operating HMI systems, including understanding alarms and controls.
• Basic computer proficiency with MS Windows and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mechanical preventive maintenance tasks on Utility and Water Treatment equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Respond to equipment alarms and system malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, filters, gauges, motors, blowers, and piping systems.
• Maintain operating logs, PM records, and repair documentation; support shut-downs and maintenance planning.
• Read blueprints and I&C schematics; coordinate with leadership on planned maintenance activities.
