Crane Stationery in Latham, NY is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to maintain and repair factory machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will diagnose issues, troubleshoot mechanical problems, assemble and install components, and perform routine maintenance and repairs.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently are required; some electrical knowledge and building maintenance tasks are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Read mechanical drawings.
• Use hand and machine tools (lathes, milling machines, drill presses, power saws).
• Use precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
• Install and maintain industrial machines and equipment.
• Perform building maintenance duties (plumbing/electrical).
• Experience with printing equipment is optional.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Test, inspect, and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation.
