Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, repairing conveyors, pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and assisting with forklift repairs. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, with a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Comfortable working with computers.
• Proficiency in operating hand, power, and specialized tools.
• Knowledge of CMMS is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Team player with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment using CMMS.
• Troubleshoot and maintain diverse industrial machinery, including conveyors, pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic 3-phase electrical systems, box erectors, tapers, palletizers, and minor forklift repairs.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and preventive maintenance work orders.
• Create detailed repair work orders with parts lists and work instructions.
• Participate in daily shift handover meetings to prioritize work and minimize downtime.
• Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers and calipers, adhering to specifications.
• Maintain accurate parts and tools inventory.
• Perform other various duties as needed to support operations.

• Potential for 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, based on NYS sick leave policy.
