The Industrial Mechanic I is responsible for maintaining engineered systems, executing preventative maintenance programs, and participating in the installation, testing, and verification of manufacturing equipment. This role involves assembling parts, installing process piping, and servicing equipment such as motors, blowers, and pumps.

This position reports to the Senior Manager - Engineering and is based in Torrance, California. It is an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they occur.
• Set up and change over equipment to maximize efficiency during production.
• Perform routine and non-routine preventive maintenance as needed.
• Maintain all maintenance documentation in accordance with quality and safety standards.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Beverage, or Food industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and pump repair.
• Understanding of sanitary design principles for processing and packaging in the pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working on manufacturing projects involving piping, equipment repair, and maintenance.

The salary range for this role is $27 - $32 per hour. This range reflects current estimates of possible compensation and may be adjusted in the future. The role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
