Job summary

QRC Group in Aibonito, Puerto Rico is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing and packaging equipment. You will diagnose failures, replace defective components, and follow detailed drawings and manuals to perform basic troubleshooting.

The role requires maintaining cGMP-compliant records, using hand, power and test tools, and coordinating maintenance on critical systems with supervision while working multi-shift as needed.

Qualifications

• Industrial Mechanic Certification or related field required.
• At least 3 years' experience with manufacturing or laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, locate and diagnose failures; replace parts and troubleshoot using drawings and manuals.
• Keep accurate, cGMP-compliant records for equipment and systems.
• Use hand, power and test tools for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain process, packaging, HVAC, and utility equipment and purified water systems.
• Coordinate maintenance on critical systems with supervisor.
• Work multi-shift as required.
• Follow safety SOPs and wear PPE.
• Monitor Equipment & Building Management System alerts and alarms.
• Complete work orders on time and meet standards.
