McWane Ductile Ohio is seeking a Mechanic B - Poles to maintain plant machinery, operate welding equipment, and assist with pipe fitting and fabrication. You will plan and execute maintenance tasks, select and set up tools, and ensure quality and safety in a heavy industrial setting.

You will train and direct apprentices, perform fabrications, install equipment, and conduct routine checks to keep operations running smoothly.

Formación

• Experience operating oxyacetylene and electric welding equipment.
• Ability to plan and lay out work, select equipment and adjust settings.
• Ability to train apprentices and supervise helpers.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and organize maintenance tasks; ensure timely completion.
• Replace mechanical parts and fabricate/install equipment.
• Directs helper(s) and/or apprentices; maintain tools safely.
• Perform quality and safety checks on work performed.
• Work in a loud, hot industrial environment with PPE.
