Austin Industrial in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a Mechanic Helper to support the Mechanic in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment. You will assist with maintenance, installation, service, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment, following safety procedures and standard operating practices.

The role emphasizes ability to wear PPE, lift up to 50 pounds, read instructions, and work in varied positions.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience requirement.

Responsabilités

• Maintain health and safety for employees, customers and environment.
• Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Replace bearings, chains, sprockets and other machine parts.
• Rebuild pumps, cylinders, valves, chillers and other equipment per SOP.
• Knowledge of shop and hand tools for installation or maintenance.
• Work in PPE and safety gear as required.
