Job Overview

Industrial Mechanic – Winder, GA plant. Base hourly rate: $33.19. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing production and facilities equipment, and ensuring maximum equipment efficiency.

Work Schedule

Rotating shift schedule (2‑2‑3 / 12‑hour shifts) including days, nights, overtime, holidays, and weekends. On‑train days may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Repair or replace damaged components to maintain production line reliability.
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks to maximize equipment efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of repair parts and tools.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment troubleshooting, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Welding experience and knowledge required; ability to repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and drawings.
  • Physical capability to lift 75 pounds, work at heights, and carry own tools.
  • Must pass a drug screening, background check, and medical clearance.
