Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc. in Hardinsburg, KY is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to repair, disassemble, and assemble customer equipment in the designated area.

You will follow safety procedures, read blueprints, and participate in the quality program to ensure reliable service. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physically demanding work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1–3 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and directions.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Must perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong prioritization and paperwork management.
• Solid analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Standing, sitting, squatting, twisting or stooping for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, reassembles, marks, photographs and scans customer equipment and parts for servicing; documents data for engineers.
• Follows OSHA and company safety procedures during repairs and maintenance.
• Participates in the quality program; coordinates repairs with supervisor as needed.
• Coordinates and performs press work in portable, horizontal and vertical conditions.
• Maintains a clean work area; organizes tools and parts as work proceeds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Disassembles, reassembles, marks, photographs, andscanscustomerequipment andparts for further servicingProvides key data and informationthrough the use ofdocumentedreporting system for Engineering andadditionaldepartments

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) High School isrequiredOne to three years maintenance experiencerequired,or combination of experience and education may be consideredExperience in blueprint and sketch preparation
