Job summary

Kiewit Industrial District seeks a Material/Equipment Receiving Quality Inspector to support QA across incoming materials, equipment, and components for large industrial projects. You will verify material compliance, maintain traceability, and document quality execution from arrival on site.

You’ll work with construction teams, warehouse, engineering, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure materials are compliant, properly documented, and ready for installation.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in construction quality, inspection, or material receiving.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and material certifications.
• Familiar with NCR processes, ITPs, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials/equipment for compliance.
• Verify traceability—heat numbers, serials, MTRs/MTCs, certifications.
• Document inspections in logs and digital systems; raise NCRs as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse for proper handling and storage with special conditions.
• Assist ITPs related to receiving and material verification across mechanical, electrical, and civil scopes.
• Prepare turnover package documentation.
• Collaborate with construction, engineering, suppliers, and client representatives to resolve material issues.
