HDR is seeking an Industrial Market Sector Leader to guide growth for HDR's Industrial program in Nebraska and Iowa. The role emphasizes leadership in portfolio growth, strategic planning, and delivering design, consulting, and advisory services to clients across gas utilities, agribusiness, mining, and manufacturing sectors.

You will lead major pursuits, build external partnerships, and oversee project staffing, budgets, and quality.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Experience managing a wide range of client relationships and specific program/project pursuits.
• Experience with industry associations and maintains a visible profile in the market sector.
• Ability to work cooperatively with regional leaders and marketing managers.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Aufgaben

• Grow, monitor, and execute HDR's Industrial portfolio in Nebraska and Iowa. Partner with business development leaders to diversify work and grow client relationships.
• Participate in strategic planning and develop market positioning within NE/Iowa.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for design, consulting, advisory, owners engineering, asset management, due diligence, and planning services.
• Lead/evaluate direct project pursuits including client relationship development, qualifications, proposals, scopes, budgets, and negotiations.
• Establish external teaming relationships and represent HDR in industry associations and communities.
• Provide leadership and project management to ensure staffing, quality, and delivery; act as Principal-in-Charge or Project Manager as needed.
• Manage day-to-day activities and support staff development and performance.
• Coordinate with Area Business Group Manager and Market Sector Leaders to align resources with workload and marketing efforts.
• Manage financial performance of the Industrial Sector, including profitability, revenue, and receivables.
• Drive client growth locally and regionally, including staff recruitment for business development.
• Coordinate with operations and management to support work sharing and staff mobility.
• Lead and motivate staff to meet growth goals.
