Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation of our production facility. The technician will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of machinery, equipment, and systems used in manufacturing processes. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a 6 month contract to hire.

- 2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm

- Candidates must train on 3rd shift (11:30pm-7am) for the first six weeks and be open to working 3rd shift at times when needed


Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including motors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Ensure machinery and equipment operate at optimal performance and meet production demands.
  • Install new equipment and assist in equipment upgrades and retrofits.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Work with production staff to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Follow and enforce safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
  • Support facility maintenance tasks including lighting, HVAC, and plumbing systems as needed.

$25 - $31 an hour
