Job summary

Krones, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support process improvements, layout updates and data analysis. You'll use CAD tools to update facility drawings and help optimize production flow while learning from experienced engineers.

This onsite internship in Franklin offers exposure to 5S, continuous improvement and hands-on CAD projects, with guidance to develop practical skills in layout design and manufacturing processes within the global Krones group.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering degree.
• Sophomore or Junior standing.
• Demonstrated proficiency with CAD tools and Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Highly motivated with ability to work independently and learn quickly.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update facility drawings (CAD).
• Create layout drawings (CAD).
• Enter data into Excel to create charts.
• Participate in Lean projects to improve process flow.
• Assist with time reduction of CNC machines.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement, 5S and layout maintenance.
• Draft detailed procedures and work instructions for standardized processes.
