Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of industrial mechanical and electrical work or a four-year apprentice plus two years of maintenance experience.
• Preferred welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to analyze mechanical and electrical problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Safely install, troubleshoot, and maintain facility machinery and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems.
• Repair or replace electrical switches, fixtures, motors, and plumbing fixtures.
• Weld and fabricate metals as needed.
• Move, lift, and rig equipment and plant products.
• Respond to plant emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Work from sketches, blueprints, and procedures; recommend alterations as needed.
• Share on-call responsibilities to support off-shift and weekend maintenance.
