Job summary

Materion is seeking a Maintenance Technician to safely install, troubleshoot, and maintain facility machinery and equipment. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and fluid power repairs, following blueprints and procedures to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, welding/fabricating as needed, lifting and moving equipment, and supporting off-shift on-call needs. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of industrial mechanical/electrical work or a four-year apprentice with two years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze mechanical/electrical problems and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of machinery and vehicles and their mechanical, electrical and fluid power systems.
• Ensure safety is the number one priority in all maintenance tasks.
• Respond to plant emergencies and minimize downtime.
• Read sketches, manuals, drawings and procedures; recommend alterations as needed.
• Share on-call responsibilities to support off-shift and weekend maintenance.
