Job summary

Forged Solutions Group – Detroit is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to execute repair, preventive maintenance, and installation of machinery and heavy equipment on the shop floor. The role focuses on maximizing uptime, safety, and minimizing production delays.

You will diagnose, repair, and sustain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with welding and electrical skills required. Capable of operating cranes and forklifts while adhering to PPE and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Requires welding proficiency and electrical proficiency.
• Minimum 2–5 years hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair equipment during mechanical, electrical or hydraulic breakdowns.
• Assess faults and coordinate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Operate heavy machinery safely (overhead cranes, forklifts, manipulators).
• Perform other duties as required.
