Job summary

The Judge Group in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support factory and facility operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment. You will work to maximize equipment uptime, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with CMMS/SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing/production.
• Hands-on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, schematics, and maintenance docs.
• Experience with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect machinery and facilities to identify malfunctions and safety concerns.
• Install, maintain, and service manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Read and interpret manuals, procedures, schematics, and docs.
• Diagnose failures, replace components, test repairs, and adjust operations.
• Coordinate with external contractors for facility improvements.
