Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician & Setter in Mount Pleasant, WI. The role focuses on ensuring reliability and optimal performance of production machinery, collaborating with production teams and technical staff to maintain product quality and smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 2–4 years of industrial maintenance experience, plus familiarity with printing or packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience with printing, packaging, or finishing equipment is a plus.
• Experience with machine setup, adjustment, and preventive maintenance programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for operation and adjust output format for printed materials.
• Load sheets of paper/components and monitor output quality.
• Perform repairs according to the repair plan and write spare parts requirements.
• Supervise service work and coordinate with plant maintenance on major events.
• Work on assembly machines and perform overhauls and medium repairs.
• Keep logs of operating activities and ensure safety compliance.
