Job summary
GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Richmond, VA seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance on industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, repair production and facility systems, and ensure maximum efficiency while adhering to safety policies.
The role requires hands-on experience with industrial machinery, willingness to rotate shifts, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- High School graduation with 3 years of similar experience required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass criminal background and drug screening.
- License or certification in an accepted trade or skill. Management must approve in advance.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3 phases 240/480 volt systems preferred.
- PLC troubleshooting and programming experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain production equipment such as large industrial washers, dryers, feeders and folders.
- Repair and maintain facility equipment such as boilers, compressors, heat exchanger and lighting.
- Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc.
- Keep accurate and timely records of maintenance performed.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
