Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support reliability and maintenance of production and utility equipment in a fast-paced sausage plant. You will apply Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) techniques and collaborate with engineers, production teams and vendors to keep lines running smoothly.

This role requires industrial maintenance experience, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot PLCs.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
• Basic electrical concepts and PLC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply RCM techniques to improve production equipment.
• Maintain utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues; use RCA to prevent recurrence.
• Work on projects and capital upgrades with vendors.
• Help develop preventative maintenance data for SAP.
• Assist with new equipment installation or relocation.
• Maintain facilities to meet Johnsonville, OSHA and USDA standards.
• Participate in uptime improvement through modifications and layouts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Manage inventory for plant and utility gear.
• Improve uptime via machine modifications and layouts.
• Keep utility areas neat and orderly.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently.
