Job summary

ICL Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Adel, GA plant to maintain and improve the reliability of equipment and facilities. You will apply technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient operations and support production and compliance standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical education and work experience.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings; preferred.
Electrical troubleshooting skills (480 volts and lower); preferred.
Basic familiarity with instrumentation (level, flow, temperature), PLCs, and HMIs.
Strong mechanical knowledge of conveying systems, rotating equipment, fans, pneumatics, and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair: troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues; replace faulty components as needed.
Emergency response: respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Preventive maintenance: perform and document scheduled maintenance activities to keep equipment running optimally.
Equipment reliability: maintain equipment in top condition and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and maintenance procedures.
Safety and compliance: ensure all maintenance activities meet OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
Tools and equipment: safely operate cranes, hoists, hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.
Collaboration: work with operations and other departments to resolve equipment issues.
Inventory management: maintain parts and tools inventory for timely repairs.
Documentation: keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Additional duties: operate machines as needed for troubleshooting or to support production during peak periods.
